Coated on both sides with gold, the i3 TrackPor membranes inserted in the monitor comply with the applicable VDI standards. This includes measurements of indoor and outdoor air on inorganic fibers such as asbestos in accordance with VDI guidelines 3492 and 3861 and ISO 14966.
The monitor housings made of high quality polypropylene are manufactured in a double test procedure to meet the high quality requirements. Individually assembled and pre-tensioned, each cassette is individually tested once it has been fitted with the membrane and before shipping. Product functionality is tested in accordance with the applicable VDI standards in an independent, accredited laboratory, in each case batch-related. Each i3 TrackPor M is identified with a serial number and a barcode. Flawless sampling with subsequent analysis is thus ensured. Due to the single use, the time-consuming preparation is no longer necessary and the risk of residual contamination from residual particles is eliminated.
