Live at the Freiburg Infectiology and Hygiene Congress

i3 Membrane presents life cycle assessment*

At the i3 trade show booth, discover how infection prevention filters improve the environmental performance of hospitals, and be one of the first to watch the new film on the topic of "Contamination pathways in everyday hospital care".

The Freiburg Infectiology and Hygiene Congress will be held under the patronage of the German Federal Minister for Health, Prof. Dr. Karl Lauterbach, at Konzerthaus Freiburg from October 19 to 21, 2022. i3 will be on hand at a prominent location once again this year with its very own trade exhibition appearance: Visitors will find us directly at the entrance to the lecture room next to the exhibition stand of the German Consulting Centre for Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control [BZH], which will be hosting the congress.

We are pleased to take this opportunity to present our life cycle assessment, which will be available hot off the press at the event. It demonstrates that Point-of-Use water filters for employment on faucets or in showers not only help to prevent nosocomial infections, but also make a climate-friendly contribution toward environmental performance in hospitals.

Another highlight of our trade exhibition appearance will be the prelaunch of the new video from the "Infection Prevention and Hospital Hygiene" series of topics. The animated film illustrates how contamination pathways occur and develop in everyday hospital life. The "protagonists" of the film are patients, visitors, staff and the pathogens themselves.

A particular danger is posed by bacteria that have already developed antibiotic resistance. In addition to highlighting this problem, the video also presents solutions for successfully interrupting chains of infection: Hand hygiene, surface disinfection and the use of Point-of-Care filters as a sustainable barrier at water outlets form the essential pillars of hospital hygiene.

So you don't plan on missing the Freiburg Infectiology and Hygiene Congress? Then we look forward to seeing you at booth 33!
