Protection from retrograde contamination
Because of the bacteriostatically active plastic which has been further improved, i3 infection prevention filters offer reliable protection against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. This has been confirmed in accordance with ISO 22196 for the whole 50-day period of use.
Water jet
The patented water jet is laminar and angled to counteract the risk of contamination from the waste trap due to water splashing and aerosol formation.
Application
The use of infection prevention filters is recommended by KRINKO in its "Requirements for hygiene in the medical care of immunocompromised patients". New findings indicate that they can also be used to prevent second infection in COVID-19 patients, who can account for up to 50%.
